This policy is effective October 29, 2026.
Home Team is operated by Above The Line. This page explains what the app collects and how invite texts work.
An account needs a name, a password, and an email, a phone number, or both. A house holds the chores, points, rewards, and the people in it. If a house asks for a photo of a finished chore, that photo is stored with the chore.
When a house admin invites someone, we keep the name they enter and the email or phone number they enter.
We do not share, sell, or rent what we collect to third parties or affiliates for any purpose other than compliance.
Home Team texts a person when a house admin invites them, and again if that admin resends the invite. The text contains a link to join that house. Message and data rates may apply.
Mobile numbers, texting consent, and opt-in data are not shared, sold, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
To stop invite texts to a number, email roster@hometeamapp.org. Include the phone number and we will stop texting it.
Privacy questions go to Above The Line at roster@hometeamapp.org.
